Angelina Jolie Jewelry and Designs
Angelina Jolie jewelry has been an interesting talking point in recent times. The multi talented actress is well known across the globe, as much for her breathtaking beauty and grace, as for her acting skills and charity work with UN. This time she has come up with a new initiative to contribute to charitable causes by stepping aside from her acting seat and trying out her hand at something different.
One of the Angelina Jolie jewelry lines is largely a collaboration work with jeweller Robert Procop. The design and development process has been going on for over a year. The jewellery line has combined some beautiful stones and used metal intelligently to come up with some spectacular designs. Moreover, proceeds from this line of jewellery will go to The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which is a noble cause, aiming to provide a better life to children from underprivileged and less developed backgrounds. The only problem though is with the pricing of the jewellery line. A lot of people consider Angelina Jolie jewelry line to be too high priced for them to consider buying it.
One of the Angelina Jolie jewelry items comprises of pale green beryl pendants, of 353 carats. These pebble sized precious stones have been well complemented by the rose gold setting that is worn on a chain. Other designs include tablet shaped, vivid emeralds, 12.02 carats in weight, set beautifully in a rose gold ring. These individually priced jewellery items wouldn’t hit the jewellery stores though and could be obtained through a private client network of Robert Procop. The greenish stones are well contrasted by the pinkish hue of rose gold lending them an elegant look. The shining metal combines well with the vividly coloured stones, although the price is on the higher side.
Another piece of jewellery that both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been involved with was called the Protector. This jewellery line called Asprey was designed by the couple for a British company after working on it for over a year. The jewellery line which was launched just prior to the Christmas rush has been designed primarily with the snake as the theme. Snake is a popular symbol of vibrancy and power and is often worshipped for protection in many cultures. It is quite a popular symbol in the fashion circles too. The jewellery line includes pendants, earrings and rings with the snake tied up in a knot. Photos courtesy of www.ruggedelegantliving.com
